S5 - WEEK 1 GAME HIGHLIGHTS
"THE BIG SUR WIN"
GAME 1 : UNION CITY (44) vs DALY CITY (35)
Union City overwhelmed Daly City in last Sunday's opener first game. Union City dominated through out the game and made sure Daly City couldn't be closed.
Daly City New Head Coach Brian Garcia aka "Mr. Pogi" will need to make new adjustment for their next game and create different game plan this Sunday to ensure Daly City would be a integral team again this season 5!
GAME 2 : SAN JOSE (41) vs FREMONT (59)
Fremont validates exclamation win against San Jose! Yes, it was a reclaim win for Fremont that San Jose witnessed and couldn't take! San Jose needs to find a better game strategy to maximize the new acquisition players they got. Having Mr. Lito Marcelo, The Season 4 League MVP and "The Lefty" Martin attacking baskets wasn't enough to overcome Fremont.
Fremont was able to manage a chemistry plays and well balanced rotations of producing individuals. Can Fremont keep up the expectation or the Hype with a well sequential roster? Will find out this Week 2 of CityHoops Big Sur.
GAME 3 : TRACY (53) vs SAN RAMON (45)
A re-matched of last Season Finals! Tracy once again proved over San Ramon whose "The Champs". Tracy Coach "The Smooth" Rodel Flores made on point that they're not messing and playing around! They're up to keeping the "Throne Remain and Defend whatever it takes."
For San Ramon this is something new to them, and that losing two (2) back bone players from last season (S3 Finals MVP Eric Aurilio and Speedy Gonzales ,Johnson Him) is a big factor.
But we couldn't take San Ramon lightly for that, they've been in the Finals 2 seasons in a row and having a 1-1 record is a big statement that we couldn't deny at all. Truly Expect the unexpected for San Ramon this Season 5!
GAME 4 : OAKLAND (55) vs HAYWARD (62)
A one of the Best game opener last Sunday for CityHoops 5! This game is one for the ages! Hayward win was a result of a working hard team and never give up attitude! This game was a toe to toe matched and that one big factor of the game was the new guy Joseph Almario aka Papa J "D Head Turner" who made some unexpected and plays that keep Oakland clueless how to stop. It was a classic for an opening day game for Cityhoops.
For Oakland whose always been a consistent and heavy team is more likely to be more dangerous, with a new guy for Oakland that can rebound and make stops any teams would be much interested to watched them out and play....
