S5 - WEEK 2 GAME HIGHLIGHTS
"WINNING DEPARTMENT"
GAME 1 : UNION CITY (55) vs TRACY (46)
Defending Champs falls short against UC squad in OT! UC didn't waste any possession basket, and defensive structure was the key during their 1st game last Sunday for UC.
Tracy had a chance to close out the game with 35 seconds in a tie ball game. Unfortunately, A wrong move of play occurred that elapsed Tracy with their 1st loss. UC is clinching in a 2-0 record now a strong start which had been a same scenario from last season.
GAME 2 : OAKLAND (49) vs SAN JOSE (46)
Oakland debug San Jose which is now has a 0-2 record despite of a gracious roster. Oakland Roevic was a stellar of the game with a career high of 21 points who Shocked San Jose big time with he's antics shot and open baskets.
For San Jose this is not a good sign considering they've got all the right parts that they needed for this season. But let's hope San Jose could comeback on 3rd week of Cityhoops Season 5.
GAME 3 : HAYWARD (39) vs FREMONT (57)
It was a totally different Fremont team played last Sunday against Hayward. Hayward loss in a big margin against the well Reloaded Fremont, Hayward was not able to recover and make a good comeback down the stretch. Some key players for Hayward were offensively off and shooting percentage wasn't visible and missing.
Fremont is showing a strong statement here, that they're back in the game and cannot be deny this Season 5! Fremont has all the ingredients of being a top team this Season.
GAME 4 : DALY CITY (44) vs SAN RAMON (47)
A grudge matched game last Sunday between these two (2) teams . San Ramon escaped a good win over Daly City and guaranteed to secure their 1st win. As usual it was Edgar the "Big E" who dominantly played and upraised the San Ramon last Sunday.
Daly City had been a bad start this season starting with a 0-2 record. We know Daly City could always make a run and will comeback bigger through crucial, tougher, and muddled game. Expect Tj "Hot Shot" and "Coach B" to make a winning combinations.
