S5 - WEEK 7 GAME HIGHLIGHTS "SWEEP-LESS"
GAME 1 : TRACY (47) vs OAKLAND (50)
Oakland elapsed Tracy! In the last regular season game last Sunday. Tracy was not able to respond to the strong scoring of Oakland inside paint. Oakland just dominated the shaded lane against the Defending Champs!
For Tracy this is unacceptable loss in entering playoffs this coming Sunday! This will be an awakening moment for the defending champs to revive themselves. Oakland is now ready to face tie playoff strong and ready against San Jose!
GAME 2 : SAN JOSE (72) vs DALY CITY (68)
San Jose wins over Daly City! San Jose took the stats by storm by taking advantage of Less under man Daly City. Daly City had a bad regular season.
But they’re not done yet as they enter the playoffs this Sunday and that could give them booze to restore and revive as a team! Daly City heavy mission now is to beat the #1 seeded 7-0 Fremont.
Will The Daly City upset the top team? For San Jose they’ve been aggressively pounding to beat and win against any teams they play!
GAME 3 : FREMONT (42) vs UNION CITY (38)
A game of crucial, close and fist by fist matched! We already expected that as soon these two teams face off! It’s going to be a wild grudge match! And it happen till the last possession!
Fremont manifested Union City as they completed the season with a perfect 7-0 sweep! A first time in Cityhoops History a team was undefeated in the regular season.
Yes! Fremont has the winning card of 7-0! What a fabulous to be in that situation and being the top seeded team in this Season 5 “The Big Sur” truly they’re the “Big Sur” of this league right now.
Union City Coach “Mr. Metrics Distribution” Dindo F, was pretty much upset but finished the game with a heads up! And claiming “they’ll see them again!” These are the fighting words of a true motivated team, coach! The hunger of revenge to win and bounce back! What a game!
GAME 4 : SAN RAMON (50) vs HAYWARD (47)
San Ramon upset the # 2 seeded Hayward Team! As usual! San Ramon is known for upsetting any top seeded teams in this league! San Ramon could never be under value and underestimate in all forms of play. Hayward ran out short in the last couple of minutes of the game.
It was a good defensive matched performance by Coach Rhoneil C, of Hayward facing Edgar “Bull” T, San Ramon at the post lane. And that we can feel the tension, the feud of playing each other at the hard court! But San Ramon prevailed and aggressively fought hard to win and beat the #2 team in this league.
We are now going to our Playoffs once again this Season 5 of Cityhoops Big Sur! Schedule is now up and all teams are now preparing and making game plans for this up coming Sunday Big game!
Eight (8) teams are now due to move forward or not! All teams must be willing to win and stay. The rivalries were reborn! Animosities were up high once more and retaliatory is now to happen again.
PLAYOFFS GAME MATCH-UP PREVIEW:
GAME 1 : SAN JOSE vs OAKLAND
San Jose vs Oakland facing each other again in the playoffs is a stellar in this league! These two teams had history of disliking at the hard-court, but always perform and plays with a classy match at game time.
Remember that these two (2) teams are the pillars and “OG” of the Cityhoops League since season 1! This should be a another classic game to see this Sunday.
GAME 2 : HAYWARD vs TRACY
Call it “The Battle of Pampanggas Best!” Battle is now revived again! Coach Rodel “The Smooth” and he’s main guy “The Twister” Robert C, Will be facing again over arch nemesis “Brutal&Vague” Jason C, and Tan Brothers! Hayward Team,
Will this be the moment to lived?
Or this is just the start of the renegade series. Relieved the rivalries, and have these two teams settle their indifferences in the game that we all agree on.
GAME 3 : FREMONT vs DALY CITY
This is a numbers game? Lucky 7 or bad luck? 7-0 and 0-7! Whose rooting for? Can’t wait to see this match! Will Daly City Rise to the occasion in upsetting the top seeded team? Cityhoops Curse and History? No ever a #1 Team prevailed in this League!
Will Fremont break the cursed that has been on going for the last 5 seasons? Or will Daly City seal the myth and keep it locked and unbroken. Cityhoops adversary is “ Anything Happens in Cityhoops!” Can’t wait to witnessed.
GAME 4 : UNION CITY vs SAN RAMON
This teams had met before in the playoffs! And it was History! I guess they have an unfinished business? Time has come to settle this faction and finished! At the hard court!
San Ramon knows how to upset a top good teams! Union City still has the memories and would willing to restore the rage and unleashed the dark memoirs.
What a season that Cityhoops had and were just on our 1st leg of Play-offs! Can’t wait to see all four (4) games this Sunday Big Games!
