Another season has started again and all games last Sunday was thrilling y and exciting! It was a good day to see all teams compete and watch new players, rookies and returners play. Week 1 was a statement of desire and urgency to finish strong and deliver till last shot. Let’s summarize all 5 games last Sunday and you decide or asses each teams vantage point with or without! GAME 1 : Union City vs Vallejo Union City rock bottom V-town (Vallejo) With the addition of Eric A, whose suiting back in he’s original 1st team since season 1 is now making a big wave again and will try help Union City to regain its title and be a contender! While Vallejo offense started cold during the 1st half, it was also lacking urgency to score and play. However Vallejo was able to play close at the end against Union City but wasn’t enough to rope a lead over scorching Union City! Vallejo still a team to beat this Season 7! Also with the addition of big guy Allan Manalo that will help boost more on rebounding and defensive boards. GAME 2 : Tracy vs Daly City Young and Furious Daly City upsets Tracy veterans! Yes, it was a blast off by Daly City who played speed and variety of young flavors of the game. With the newly restored Daly City team and core players of Russel Q, Andrew G, and Jovan these Daly City will be a threat be called as “D Big 3?” Well we need to wait and see more games how they will perform and click as a 1-2-3 punch! GAME 3 : Hayward vs San Ramon One of the scheduled opener game that showed intense and close matched! Hayward topple San Ramon with a newly remodeled Hayward team. Hayward who now has the luxury space of adding Jojo P, which gives Hayward a depth reliable scorer and Ted C, who is a known factor for he’s hustling-defense based skill is a great addition to heavy favorites Hayward. For San Ramon Edgar T, still remain as the points producer, and now with the help of last season rookie of the year Jason Edrosolo whose suiting up for San Ramon! San Ramon is now a heavy offensive team both inside, perimeter and post. GAME 4 : San Jose vs Oakland A rekindled, reawaken and rematched game of Eastern Conference last season, faced off again last Sunday’s opening game! But this time San Jose dig Oakland in a big lead! “Also both teams are playing now in different Conferences which makes thing more Interesting and exciting, and that might or could get a chance to meet again?” (Finals) Despite missing Jon Santos Oakland will need to make adjustment with their new Coach Dennis, that will apply a new system of game play and style. Will Oakland embrace a new change? After a big lead loss over San Jose? Well find out in their next game. GAME 4 : Fremont vs San Francisco A new era has come! This was a game of skills and urgency to finish! Fremont made a win a big statement over San Francisco. With a new fresh young cub name “Zak Usac!” of Fremont will now be in all teams scouting radar! A new “Usac” at this day and age is on the rise here in season 7 of Cityhoops! Zak Usac son of Ron Usac who is a fourteen year old kid just made a career high score on its first debut game last Sunday with 25 points that rallied over San Francisco. It was a good win of Fremont and 1st Win of newly Head Coach Perchy Dizon. Coach Perchy made a strong statement that this could be a good season for them to be a contender! With a multilateral line up we can expect Fremont to be a threat at their division and will be a juggernaut come playoffs time. For San Francisco this team is not new with this scenarios! We all know what they’re capable and could do. With coach roger in control we can expect big moments for this team and could handle any type of pressure and runs. San Francisco could not be left out and shouldn’t be underestimated at any cost! They’re dangerous and know how Win in any close a game!
