Last week 11 games are pretty much of securing the positions some are none bearing due to locked in standings.
Oakland vs Hayward
This was a total edifying game take for Oakland that almost beat the heavy Hayward at the late possession. Oakland had a chance but couldn't take a good finish run at the last minutes of the game. While for Hayward, they showed urgency and much Adrenalin game over Oakland. Ted P, then the defense was so intense that every opportunity would always be a chance for Hayward play by play.
For Oakland, this could be an awakening moment for they're Wild Card game against Union City. We look forward to Oakland to make a big comeback and that the spirit of being a champion team still carries their pride and motivation.
San Jose vs San Ramon
A new San Jose form showed a new variety of game. San Jose drowned San Ramon in a 40 plus points game. San Ramon was missing bunch of their main guys and only having 5 players down. San Ramon was able to tie and get a lead during the 1st half of the game and trying to create their big threes from the arc father and son Oliver and Jorell was the eminent core of San Ramon and adding Carl A and Paul Rabut, tried to help the team.
But San Jose started to dwell more and then things just fall into right place with their ball movement and set up plays.
San Jose had secured the top 1 seed at their Division for the second time and created a history of being back to back no.1 seed for both east and west division. Could this be there chance?
”Myth hasn't changed and still totally sealed for the last six seasons.” of Cityhoops!
San Francisco vs Vallejo
Vallejo maintained its winning form over San Francisco! Vallejo showed a no scary tales of San Francisco and made sure to capture a win despite missing Martin S aka "The Franchise" and playing injured Froi Juan aka "Mr. Suave" who still dominated for Vallejo.
San Francisco has now secured the number 2 spot for the West Conference and will be facing its same team Vallejo for its playoff run.
Union City vs Fremont
Fremont outplays Union City in very interesting game. Fremont took advantage of their height and speed over the Veterans Union City.
Union City Edgar E made some historical records of making nine threes which make him the record holder for CityHoops Sunday.
For Fremont, they'll be facing Daly City for the playoff run which makes it interesting for the east division.
We are now down to our wildcard games this coming Sunday! Four teams still have the chance to extend their series.
Each team should take one game at a time and relinquish the beauty of wildcard to playoffs.
This is the time of the season were all teams and individual players are been analyze and scouted for next seasons and so.
This is the best time to win and regain its camaraderie and team developed chemistry.
We are Cityhoops and we value respect for others and good sportsmanship.
