Week two of CityHoops was more interesting, exciting and more challenging. All teams perform, play well, and every last shot possessions counts. GAME 1 : Tracy vs Hayward A very critical and close game between these two opposing teams! Tracy having a 0-2 start makes them more eager to win on their next game. Hayward Coach Rhoniel is making a good start for this season 7 connecting with a 2-0 start! For Tracy they will need to assess were their team is at and restore mindfully to be a contender again. GAME 2 : Fremont vs San Jose Fremont gained advantage at the second half that left San Jose a 5-8 points difference. Fremont capitalizes the basic rebound and run game with their young acquisition Zak Uzak and with the help of Ricardo to boost a lead! Coach Perchy must be in a high notes this Season 7 as a first time coach and having a vulnerable complete flexible roster. This could stay awhile. San Jose couldn’t make a last adjustment with their defense to stop the runs and offensive lethal of Fremont. GAME 3 : Oakland vs San Francisco A well known and familiar group playing against each other last Sunday was one of the highlights last week 2! San Francisco upset the defending Champs Oakland in a class act game. Oakland who has now a 0-2 start will prolly make more adjustments and regroup. We understand that being in a new system (Coach Dennis) takes awhile to connect and gel. For San Francisco it was a good win that validates them at their Conference/Division.
GAME 4 : Vallejo vs Daly City Daly City showing aggressive wins and assets last Sunday is just the start! Daly City marked Vallejo their second loss for this season 7! Vallejo offense was running short every time they get closer over The young and furious Daly City! Coach Bernard of Daly City is maximizing all he’s advantage at any position! With Russel Q, and Jovan A, the two duo is unstoppable at this time. Cityhoops Week 2 is already in the book! We are just starting and all games are already crucial and eager to show and prove something this season 7! The CityHoops will apply implementing its rules for technical fouls and other misconduct during the game. The CityHoops doesn’t tolerate any actions such as taunting, intentional of physical play exchanges and any malicious act to fellow players, committee, referees, and spectators. CityHoops runs a zero tolerance at any games and events.
Pls. remember CityHoops is not just a league "WE ARE FAMILY" so let's give respect to each other! And most importantly lets have fun playing basketball.
